Lichfield Cathedral

Lichfield Cathedral has a splendid setting and a fascinating history. Its three spires are unique amongst medieval cathedrals and are often referred to as 'the Ladies of the Vale'.

Darwin House

Erasmus Darwin was Charles Darwin's grandf
ather. A  highly-regarded doctor - George III asked him to be his  physician, but Erasmus declined. Erasmus came up with a coherent theory of evolution a full 70 years before Charles turned his mind to it.

National Memorial Arboretum

Created in 1997, the National Memorial Arboretum is a special place that remembers those who have served, and continue to serve, our nation in many different ways. The staff and volunteers of the National Memorial Arboretum look forward to welcoming you.
